Spencer Pratt, American television personality known for his role as the antagonistic husband of Heidi Montag on MTV’s The Hills, is coming out with his new rap video entitled I’m a celebrity.
I have to admit that Spencer got some nice catchy punchlines but I’m still not down about this cocky rap theme because I’d rather listen to Jay-Z, Gucci Mane or even Drake for that.
Recently Spencer said “I’ve always known that I secretly am the hottest rapper in the game. But I didn’t feel the urge until Asher Roth started hitting the airwaves and, no offense to Asher Roth — somebody with some real swagger needed to come into the game. So I’ll challenge him. I’ll challenge him to a freestyle or whatever. I’m the white Jay-z in the game. I’m doing the baller thing. I’m more for the streets”
Asher Roth it wouldn’t be right if you don’t go at this guy.

The legendary Bussa Bus has a brand new album dropping next week, “Back On My B.S.” In this sit down interview, he talks about how he never wants to retire, and the god-like power he gets from being about to move the crowd.

“All them dudes that talk about retirement and shit—God bless ‘em. I’m not one of them dudes. When you’re in this business as long as me, you’re gonna retire to do what? I love what I do so much, I don’t foresee retirement ever. I’m probably gonna be one of the first muthafuckas on some Quincy Jones shit. RICK ROSS WEARING FAKE LOUIS VUITTON??

 

Do you remember the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine? Ross appears on the cover wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton – like frames. The controversy erupted yesterday (May 11), when a representative for Louis Vuitton issued a statement disassociating itself with XXL Magazine and Rick Ross over the glasses.

“Bet you will never ever ever ever find these…”

Aww man, this is almost as bad as that other thing.  Hip hop publication XXL magazine is reporting they received this letter from a representative from the luxury fashion house in response to rapper Rick Ross wearing “fake/custom/guess it depends on how you look at it” glasses on the magazine’s cover:

Hip hop publication XXL magazine is reporting they received this letter from a representative from the luxury fashion house in response to rapper Rick Ross wearing “fake” glasses on the magazine’s cover.

“The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit,”Louis Vuitton clarified. “Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.”

 

Rick Ross answered this morning. According to him, the sunglasses worn on the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine were customized with solid gold accents by Jacob Bernstein, AKA “The Sunglasses Pimp.”
“It’s the same thing as buying a Rolls Royce and having it tricked out, just because the product has been customized by me doesn’t take away from the fact that the frames are authentic Louis Vuitton Millionaires,” Bernstein said. 

Bernstein, who was responsible for Ross’ customized shades, is well known in the world of fashion via his Los Angeles – based business, Jack’s Eyewear. 
Bernstein has customized sunglasses for a number of actors and entertainers, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Sharon Stone, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Brad Pitt, Usher and numerous others.

Young Jeezy, T.I. and Nelly in Atlanta to support the Hawks

Last Saturday, the rappers Young Jeezy, T.I. and Nelly were to Philips Arena (in Atlanta) to support the Atlanta Hawks who were playing against Lebron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers for the Eastern Conference semifinal in NBA Playoffs. Unfortunately for our three artists, Cavliers won the game (97-82) and Lebron James scored 47 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Second Part of the new video from Eminem “crack a bottle” (50Cent’s verse only)

As promised, here is the second part of the video of Eminem “Crack a Bottle” featuring his mentor Dr. Dre and his protégé 50Cent.
As you could see, there is no Eminem’s cameo, nor 50Cent’s. I’m a bit disappointed by the second part this video even though 50Cent dropped a nice verse. Stay tuned for the third and most likely last part of the video.
